About Course

Heartfulness Yoga has designed this course to address Mental Wellbeing in a simple and effective way.  This course takes to heart the issues of anxiety and loneliness that have increased globally during the pandemic and are still a pre-occupation in the medical community. It is a simple 4-week program to make a difference in the mental health of all who participate.

Simple daily practices

  • Morning Asana & Meditation

    Start your day with a simple practice that will shape your day. It will give you the energy as well as the poise necessary to go through the day while adding benefits to your overall health.

  • Evening Pranayama & Cleaning

    End your working day with a simple practice to unwind and rejuvenate. Optimise your potential by letting go of the daily tension. Feel your energy reborn and enjoy your evening.

  • Night Connection & Relaxation

    Your sleep allows your body to integrate and deepen the practice of the day and it shapes the next day. Deep sleep is also the time when the body heals naturally. It is important to prepare for it with a simple practice.

  • Daily live Yoga classes at 7 AM IST (30min) for a progressive practice for 4 weeks

  • Weekly Webinars on Saturday at 7:00 AM IST (1hr) with health and yoga experts

  • Pre-recorded guided audio, bonus videos and recording of all the live sessions

Yoga Instructore

Ankur Naik

Ankur is a fun-loving engineer from Bits Pilani. He started Heartfulness Meditation at Ashoka University. Intrigued by it, he took the opportunity of doing a fellowship with the Heartfulness Institute. Teaching and learning went hand on hand during this time. He got certified as a yoga teacher on the way (RYT200) in 2018 and enthusiastically organized many Yoga programs. He is currently working as a professional Yoga Teacher and project manager with the Heartfulness Yoga School at Kanha Shanti Vanam, Hyderabad. With his joyful and energetic attitude, connecting with new people came naturally to him. Exposed to a creative environment full of opportunities and talented people, and with his avidity to learn everything that crosses his path, Ankur has developed multiple skills that make him a well-rounded multi-talented Yoga Engineer. He is currently focussing in developing the Online Yoga programs.

Course Faculty

Dr. Jayaram Thimmapuram

Dr. Jayaram Thimmapuram is an academic hospitalist in internal medicine at Wellspan York hospital. He has a special interest in research and has several articles published in medical journals. He is a recipient of Gold Humanism award, outstanding teacher of the year and resident of the year awards. He has completed several research projects on Heartfulness meditation and its effect in lowering stress levels and burnout and improving sleep. He regularly conducts stress management workshops using Heartfulness meditation techniques for health care professionals and patients. He is a TEDx speaker.

Yoga Teacher

Sangeeta Padmanabhan

Sangeeta Padmanabhan did her Teachers Training from 'The Yoga Institute', Mumbai in 2005. She has also secured a 2-year Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga from the Mumbai University. Sangeeta has been teaching classical and therapeutic Yoga in Juhu Mumbai for over fifteen years and wrote on Yoga for health magazines. She started the practice of Heartfulness Meditation in 2010 which she now combines with her experience of Yoga.
